Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Physicians and Nurses Aid in Haiti Relief
The earthquake in Haiti struck on January 12, 2010. The powerful, 7.0 magnitude quake's epicenter hit just 10 miles west of Porte-au-Prince and its 2 million inhabitants. It sent 33 aftershocks ranging in magnitude from 4.2 to 5.9, leaving devastation in its wake.
This unprecedented natural disaster left upwards of 3 million people in need of emergency services, including medical care.
Several doctors and nurses from Englewood Hospital have recently returned from Haiti after aiding in emergency medical relief efforts.
This page is dedicated to their courage and generosity.
