Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a multi-disciplinary program designed to educate and treat patients with breathing difficulties, thereby improving their quality of life. Individuals with lung disease often find that even the simplest activities can become difficult. Our goal is to help participants learn how to overcome respiratory difficulties that limit their everyday lives. You may be eligible for this program if breathing difficulties interfere with the normal activities of your daily life.

How the Program Works

The Rehabilitation Team includes respiratory therapists, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and a physician specializing in lung disease. Patients are scheduled for two one-hour individual sessions per week.
Sessions may include but are not limited to:

  • Breath control training


  • Coughing and airway clearance


  • Exercise


  • Respiratory medication education


  • Nutrition education


  • Adequate hydration instruction


  • Chest physical therapy


  • Oxygen therapy

Our Respiratory Specialists will evaluate and develop a care plan that meets the need of each individual patient. Maintenance Program available for all patients for long term support.

Getting Started

  • First, you will need to get a physician referral


  • All necessary pulmonary tests will be scheduled at your convenience


  • We will then contact you to arrange a start date for treatment
