Cell Phones, Smoking & Other Policies
Cellular Phone Policy
Patients and visitors to our Medical Center are now allowed to use cellular phones in designated areas, which will be clearly labeled. These areas include waiting rooms, the main lobby dining areas, administrative offices and other areas where the likelihood of encountering medical equipment and instrumentation is low. Patients and visitors are not allowed to use their cellular phones in patient care areas. Signs restricting use of cell phones in any area of our Medical Center may be posted as needed
No Smoking Policy/Smoke Free Campus
To provide a healthier, more comfortable environment for patients and visitors, staff, physicians, and volunteers, smoking will be prohibited on the Englewood Hospital campuses as of January 1, 2011. In compliance with this new policy, please refrain from smoking on campus and in parked vehicles.
Support is available for those reliant on smoking and/or for those who wish to quit. For information on the QuitSmart™ Smoking Cessation program contact: Ken Capek, 201-894-3157 (ext. 3157 from inside the Medical Center), or click here.
